What you are buying, and what we promise.

1. What the licence gives you

Buying AMZ Verdict grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the version of the software and the dataset current on your purchase date, for your own business or your clients’ work, on up to three device activations at a time. An activation can be released and moved to another device.

It is a licence to use the software, not a transfer of ownership in it. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or its data files, or present the tool itself as your own product. Reports and exports you generate are yours, including white-label reports carrying your own branding.

2. The dataset, and what “perpetual” means

Fee tables, referral rates, VAT and duty are refreshed once a year, effective 1 February. The dataset current on the day you buy is frozen at that version and remains available to you indefinitely. There is no expiry, no update window and no mechanism by which the version you bought stops working.

Renewal is optional. It costs 40% of the then-current list price and provides the following year’s dataset and that year’s features. It never removes, downgrades or disables anything you already hold. If you do not renew for several years, a single renewal restores you to the current year.

3. Refunds

Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record (section 4). On refund the licence key is deactivated. There is a free tier covering 3 saved products, with no card and no time limit, and we would genuinely rather you used it first.

4. Who you are buying from

Two parties, doing two different jobs, and it is worth being clear about which is which.

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. They take the payment, calculate and remit VAT and sales tax in your country, issue your invoice, and appear on your card statement. Card details never reach this website — we cannot leak them because we never have them. Their buyer terms and privacy policy govern the payment itself, and questions about a charge, an invoice or your payment data go to them.

The licence to use the software is granted by us, and these terms govern it. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction; they are not the author of the software and not a party to the licence.

5. What the software is, and is not

AMZ Verdict is a decision-support tool. It applies published Amazon fee tables and a set of documented checks to figures you supply, and reports what those figures imply.

It is not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell or invest. It does not predict what a product will earn, and it deliberately never claims to. Decisions taken after reading its output are yours.

Fee data is drawn from Amazon’s published sources and every table carries a confidence rating. Amazon changes its fees, and rates published today may be wrong tomorrow. Where a figure is assumed rather than known, the software labels it on the line it affects; where a marketplace’s benchmarks are not calibrated, it says so next to the verdict. We do not warrant that any figure matches what Amazon will charge you.

6. Availability and your data

The software runs in your browser and works offline once loaded, so it does not depend on us being online for you to use what you have bought. Your products, costs and margins are stored on your own device and never reach us — see the privacy page. We cannot recover them if you clear your browser data, because we never had them.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the software is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for lost profit, lost inventory, wasted advertising spend or other indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing here affects the statutory rights of a consumer.

8. Not affiliated with Amazon

AMZ Verdict is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. “Amazon”, “FBA”, “Seller Central” and “Vendor Central” are trademarks of their owners and are used here only to describe what the software covers, across 11 Amazon marketplaces.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the version in force on your purchase date continues to govern the licence you bought. Changes apply to purchases made after they are published, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

10. Who we are, and which law applies

The licence in these terms is granted by AMZ Verdict S.r.l., Milan, Italy. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for the payment (section 4) and is not a party to this licence.

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are buying as a business, the courts of Milan, Italy have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are buying as a consumer, none of that takes anything away from you. You keep the mandatory protections of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your own local courts. European consumer law gives you that right regardless of what a contract says, and we are not going to write a clause pretending otherwise.
